Well I picked up a 1979 Kawasaki KZ1000ST this weekend. I am thinking "rat bike". Flat black the whole thing and ride it till it falls apart.

It needs a little TLC but im thinking next spring/summer i should have it on the road. Drag bars are going on also......www.theunderdahls.com/kz1000.php

I do. The guy is a ninny. I think it might be for sale....

Its a 1979 or 80 i think. It ran when it was parked, I think it has a pontiac 400 in it.....

I will find out. If u buy it, And if it has a olds 403 i will give u a new oil pump and screen that I have on the shelf(It was for my old 79 T/A I had).

On a side note- Does your old man have any junk bikes for parts? Im really wanting to get a kick start lever for my project "rat bike". Give me a ring at 564-1836 if he does.

The wife was pissed when I got it. She thinks im gonna throw a ass-ton of cash at it. Im thinking spend as little as possible, just to get it on the road.

When i got it the guy left it outside for 2+yrs. Cables frozen, carbs full of gunk,etc...Spent Sunday cleaning the carbs(4)and freeing the cables up.

On a good note it has a new battery, new coils, plugs and wires. The tires are in good shape, 80% i would say. All turns signals,headlight and brakelight work.

U wouldnt know the guys name by chance would u? I might have run into him at the Cock and Bull before...

stock for stock, yes, a 400 transam would smoke it, but u can make em equally as fast :D
